IWannaGoThere.netNew travel site IWannaGoThere gives users a glimpse into foreign lands with insight from other globetrotters. The site is a mix of user submitted photos and descriptions and a travel planner.

Once you sign up, you can add destinations and routes to your own account; first you’ll have to pick a specific country and then use the search bar to find exact destinations. You will also be able to submit your own little travel bits, adding to the site’s database of places to go. Each city or place can be browsed by clicking on any of five tabs: there’s one for highlights, another for tips, you’ll find a separate tab all for eating and drinking, there’s also one for sleeping, and finally, there’s a section dedicated to shopping. Users can vote whether a place is cool or not and they can also rate the cheapness or expensiveness of an area. Commenting, tags, maps and profiles also play their parts on the site. Within each member profile, you can see posted items, destination routes, their friends’ activity and followers.
