HopeCube.com – Online Support for Health Conditions

HopeCube.comHopeCube.com is a social network for anyone struggling with a medical condition, disease, or psychological disorder.

Build on the premise that words of encouragement can help someone to overcome a hardship, HopeCube.com has built up a community of afflicted users along with health professionals to help you get through a rough time. Like any other social network, you can make friends and exchange thoughts (either private messages or public “words of encouragement”), and view blogs and photos, but you can also search for professional information about your disorder. You can do this in one of two ways; by contacting one of the professionals who maintains a page on HopeCube, or by searching for articles and information about a particular health topic. Each topic contains a brief synopsis of the disorder and related links. If you click on an issue, you will be able to add it to your “interest list” and see who else has, and view related entries and blogs. Site registration is free.

HopeCube.com In Their Own Words

“‘You Are Not Alone'”. Four simple words, one powerful idea. Never before has the concept of community, support, self-expression, information, advice, been more important or relevant. In the struggle against adversity, facing a health crisis no one saw coming, patience, understanding – even a simple “I know where you’re coming from” – makes all the difference”.

Why HopeCube.com It Might Be A Killer

HopeCube is the perfect site for anyone struggling with an emotional, medical, or mental disorder and needs widespread support; social networking and emotional support are a natural combination. The added benefit of being able to get advice from on-site health professionals is an extra, yet in hindsight clearly necessary, perk.

Some Questions About HopeCube.com

Somehow, it feels as though HopeCube lacks something, and it seems to be a missing link; friends and family of those afflicted. When you sign up, you have to choose from what condition you are suffering; why can’t loved ones simply sign up saying that they are here to support an ailing relative or friend? HopeCube.com
