search cancel – Complain For A While

DroneMe.comThere are lots of sites that let you get things off your chest, and go on ranting and ranting about these things you know just ain’t right. See RantSocial and, for example. These sites certainly do the job they were created for, but they have one disadvantage: what you post remains online forever. And even though posts on such sites are invariably anonymous, having them online forever can be problematic one day. It would be much better if what you wrote in the spur of a moment remained like that, and vanished from the Internet altogether after a short while.

And that’s precisely what this new service does. enables people to speak their minds as wantonly as they might want, and then have what they have typed distributed on sites such as Twitter for 69 hours only. After that, the rant will disappear for good.

So, DroneMe is a site that makes for having a controlled cathartic experience. No other site actually lets users do the same. I wouldn’t be surprised if we began seeing other sites that follow the same formula, and that add support for even more and more social services. In Their Own Words

Publish anonymously, distributed on twitter and just for 69 hours.

Some Questions About

What about letting users choose for how long their rants will be published?
