Discogs.com is a database built by users that contains information on artists, labels and their recordings.
It allows you to search information about music and help build the database by submitting information that is no available in the site yet. If you create an account you can personalize parts of the site and track your collection and wantlist of music as well as a join the forums to take part in music discussions. It does not offer music download or music shops but it has a “Marketplace” section where users can buy and sell items as private sales and also offer links to music stores.
