DebtAdvice.org – Credit Management Plans Online

The National Foundation for Credit Counseling is found online at NFCC.org, and the site stands as one of the best resources for credit management and debt advice you can find on the Internet. On this site you can get help with the following: “Credit Counseling”, “Housing Counseling”, “Bankruptcy Counseling & Education” and “Financial Education”. And a series of consumer tools such as calculators, a budget worksheet and consumer tips on how to spend your money more wisely are provided, along with podcasts and financial fact videos.

Plus, the site lets you read consumer reports, and realize how your credit score would be impacted by any step you take to try and change your current financial situation. And there’s a “Consumer Alerts” section that comes with news articles, and links to publications and free financial resources such as DVDs on how to avoid foreclosure.

Moreover, the site features a section that lets you find the nearest National Foundation for Credit Counseling agencies. Currently, the company’s network has got more than 700 community-based offices in all 50 States, and also in Puerto Rico. (The site is available both in English and in Spanish; phone numbers for speakers of both languages are provided at the bottom of the homepage.)
