What’s your company about? What do you do? Who are your customers?

Brix is the first fully featured tool on the market, which allows every user to design application, website or mobile app in accordance to his or her needs. The tool is a derivative of the best BootstrapMaster’s experiences gathered since the beginning of Twitter Bootstrap. That’s why Brix implements almost all ideas and needs which you might have during the design.

 

What’s the greatest thing about your company/website? Why is it better than the competition?

The greatest thing or why is it better than the competition? It’s easy, Brix has no competition. For the first time in Twitter Bootstrap’s history, there’s a solution which enables everyone to put the bricks together and create unique and fully featured template. It’s Brix.io

 

How’d you come up with the name for your company?

Brix means bricks for web designers and for all of us. The same as we played with the bricks in our childhood, now we can play with brix and create awesome templates.

 

What was your first computer? How old were you when you first got on the world wide web?

Commodore, 15

 

What time do you usually start work each day? How many hours a day do you usually work?

7am till 11pm with few breaks

 

When’s the last time you went on vacation and where did you go?

2013, Austria, Europe

 

What’s the very first thing you do at work every day?

I make myself good coffee

 

When do your best ideas come to you? In bed in the morning? During dinner? On your third beer?

All answers are correct.

 

How many people did you start the company with and how many people work for you now?

We started as one man, now it’s 3.

How do you handle frustration? What has been your biggest professional frustration?

There’s no time for frustration. Life’s too short.

 

What’s your office environment like? Do you listen to music? Watch movies? Play video games?

Once again all answers are correct. We play also basketball.

 

How do you picture your company in 5 years?

Silicon Valley in USA or “Silicon Valley” in Poland.

 

Who or what inspires YOU? Role models? Quotes? Running? Video games? Snack food?

We’re inspired by our dreams. We just let them come true.

 

How’d you fund this venture? VC? Self-funding? Crowdfunded? Where’d you get the money, man?

Our project is a self-funding but venture… is still an option.

 

Got any great bootstrapping tips for the lean startups out there?

What other advice do you have for other entrepreneurs struggling to get started?

No pain, no gain.

 

What would you do if you had a year off and $500,000 to spend (on something other than work)?

I would change the life of my local community. I would show them than less in a year with less than $500k, they can make their dreams come true.

 

Do you consider yourself a successful entrepreneur? If not, what’ll make you feel successful?

I feel like successful entrepreneur.

BootstrapMaster gained more than 10k customers in less than a year. Brix, which is some kind of the next step for that project gain almost 3k of news subscribers in two weeks.
