Soccer is the world’s most popular game, called football to people in countries other than the USA. Arisfc.gr is the official website of Aris Football Club (F.C.) a team based in Greece, and a must see site for those interested in European football. If you cannot read Greek, select the EN tab at the top right of the home screen, or change the address to read arisfc.gr/en and the site will be translated for you. There is a delay loading some of the pages, but persevere and it will load eventually.
Recent results and match photographs scroll through the home page, with links to more in depth match reviews. News on players, transfers, matches and tickets are available, under the News tab, and is updated regularly. Details and even a virtual tour of the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium gives fans a true insight into the club. The current squad (team) has pictures, profiles, and statistics of all the players including the positions they play. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with the team before going to see a match.
Aris F.C. runs an under 20 (U20) and Under 17 (U17) academy to develop and promote youth players and profiles and photographs of the youth teams are available on the arisfc.gr site. Aris FC compete in the UEFA Cup and league tables and fixtures lists are available for fans on the Program page. The Fan Zone on arisfc.gr has a great Kid’s Club section, as well as photo galleries, wallpapers for you to download, and their own magazine named Yellow after the club’s official color.
