Allmed.net is the homepage for Bound Tree Medical, a company providing all sorts of medical supplies and equipment, aimed primarily at Emergency Medical Service, fire and law enforcement professionals. Prior to October 1st, 2011 Allmed was operated by Alliance Medical, Inc, which was purchased by Bound Tree at that time.
The allmed.net site is laid out in a very simple, straightforward fashion. The search box is in the center of the screen, allowing for searches targeted by item number or keyword. Since this is an e-commerce site, there is also a log in and password area for returning customers, plus quick links to their online catalog, event calendar and representative locator application. The Allmed catalog is impressive, containing nearly everything an EMT or paramedic would require. This includes airway management, disposables, oxygen equipment, wound and cardiac care, and even boxes and bags to carry everything in. Each catalog category on Allmed.net opens to multiple sub-categories, broken down logically. The sub-categories further split out into individual items, each represented by a picture and one-line description. Clicking on the item opens the pricing and quantity page. After selecting how many needed, a quick click on the ‘Add items’ button moves them to the virtual shopping cart for checkout. Allmed has a fully-trained sales and customer service staff dedicated to providing quality products at fair prices. A printed catalog is available by request, and the company also offers a toll free phone or fax ordering system. There is also an email link for customer service and sales representative location.
