The ACHE is an international association of professional healthcare executives, including CEOs, COOs, high-level hospital administrators, health system officers and other high-level people working in healthcare. Members and non-members alike can additionally find a variety of resources on the website.
In order to join ACHE, people must submit an application. This can be done online and there are a variety of different membership levels available, including Faculty Associate, International Associate, Student Associate, and Member. For members who retire, they may be eligible for retired or life status in ACHE. Members can pay dues online and use the Ache.org email template in order to invite colleagues to join ACHE.
The Career Services section of the Ache.org website includes healthcare job postings, resume software, resume search (for employers and recruiters), as well as a variety of resources to help members of ACHE advance their career. Additional Career Service resources include workshops, assessments, and FAQs.
Members of ACHE can browse and request copies of books and journals from Health Administration Press (HAP) through Ache.org as well. HAP is ACHE?s subsidiary and publisher. They have sold more than 54,000 publications and have publishes more than 10 issues of their own journals; Frontiers of Health Services Management and Journal of Healthcare Management.
ACHE.org conducts market research through surveys, focus groups, and interviews of their affiliates. They also offer Executive Summaries and complete reports of their research studies, which are available to both members and the general public on ACHE.org.
