Fuzgo’s main feature allows users to connect with their neighbours through a map interface, all while maintaining a safe level of privacy. Localizing event listings, classifieds, and online communities, Fuzgo offers a targeted web based medium to promote community interaction and involvement. People can organize block watches, raise local issues, and socialize with people living in their area.
Unlike other businesses that wait to become profitable before starting any charitable efforts, Fuzgo intends to start from its inception. Through the creation of the Fuzgo Cares Network, its members can optionally choose to donate $1 a month to be distributed to partnering charities. Currently Fuzgo has committed to helping raise funds through the Fuzgo Care Network for the BC Children’s Hospital and Covenant House.
