What’s your company about? What do you do? Who are your customers?

Started by a team of yoga practitioners and certified fitness experts, WorkoutTrends.com is a young health and fitness blog that got featured on Alltop.com as the one of top fitness blogs 1 month after launch. Since Nov 2013, we’ve been on a mission to be the web’s most trusted and coolest fitness brand. We cover stories on the latest health and fitness trends, tips, advice and workouts.

 

What’s the greatest thing about your company/website? Why is it better than the competition?

Every fact is cited from academic research or scientific study to produce high quality and credible health and fitness articles. All articles are fun, relatable, informative and actionable. Fitness theories, dietary suggestions, health facts – they’re all the same and shall never change. The difference lies in our creative delivery of these theories.

 

What time do you usually start work each day? How many hours a day do you usually work?

5 am IST (early morning). I work 10 to 12 hours a day.

When’s the last time you went on vacation and where did you go?

I went to Gaumukh – that’s the glacier from which Ganga river (of India) originates. It’s 4,500 meters above sea level.

 

How many people did you start the company with and how many people work for you now?

I started the company with 2 people. Now we are 10 people.

 

How do you handle frustration? What has been your biggest professional frustration?

I read Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson. It’s fun and it keeps me sane. My biggest professional frustration was and is that I feel we aren’t moving fast enough.
