WBDG.orgThe WBDG is a web-based portal that provides government and industry practitioners with access to current information on a variety of building related criteria, technology, and guidance from the perspective of buildings as a whole. This site is currently organized into three major categories including Design Guidance, Project Management, and Operations and Maintenance.

You can find reductive summaries on particular topics at the resources pages of the site. This website was created thanks to the collaborative effort of federal agencies, private sector companies, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. The content provided on this site comes from the contribution of knowledge and expertise from industry and government experts in order to better serve the building community. The WBDG web site is offered as an assistance to building professionals by the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) through the funding of the NAVFAC Engineering Innovation and Criteria Office, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of Energy (through the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)), and the assistance of the Sustainable Buildings Industry Council (SBIC).
