As a part of the UnitedHealth Group Company, Spectera is a Vision Care plan that aims to provide coverage for people in the US with their ophthalmologic needs through a net of affiliates and business partners, which include more than 24,000 private practices and retail chain providers and a centralized state-of-the-art optical laboratory. In this site, which works as clients and provider’s area, users will be able to find coverage plan information for individuals and groups, a provider directory (doctor, hospitals, research centers, etc), information on eyewear and prescription glasses, legislative news and links to health related sites.
The site’s design is a bit poor, as is it’s navigability, because there are no navigation bars, so in order to jump from one section to the other, users have to keep going to the homepage and restart their search from there.
