However, sports at school can only be fun when it’s carried out in the safest manner possible. There can be many incidents during school sports which run your health at risk. For teachers to be aware of this risk there is an organisation put in place to educate teachers of these risks. The organisation that takes care of sport education is called the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The NFHS is an organization which has been around since 1920 and was developed to educate teachers as to how to help their student’s progress in the sports and activities fields.
