LocalCareers.com is a searchable database of job openings in the US, which posts career opportunities for all business fields, and for all kinds of job-modalities: temp, contract, permanent, free-lance, internships, volunteering, etc.
Users of this site can search the site by several criteria, including company, location, or occupational field; the site also carries a directory of links to affirmative-action and diversity employers. Additionally, they can use the ‘Broadcast Resume’ feature, which will distribute the candidate’s resume to hundreds of highly-targeted potential employers, for a fee. Except for this feature, all services are free for job seekers (its employers who get charged to post their ads), and other than access to the national database, they get to read articles by top HR specialists which provide advice as to how to write a résumé, effective tactics to bear in mind when you show up for a job interview (from dress to body language and smart answers, all you might need is here), and related topics.
