Inventorspot.com is a site that works mainly as Mashable or TechCrunch, only it’s content is about object inventions, like robotics, furniture, house and industrial design.
The site aggregates news that are in the internet thanks to a team of bloggers that write brief descriptive notes on the objects and inventions, while providing the link to the original source. Other than this, the site offers other valuable resources, like the invention calendar, that provides detailed information on patents and ideas, an invention gallery, where community members can submit their creations in order to get comments and advice from other inventors, and also to gain visibility and attract prospective investors, a forum where users can depart about their creativity issues, plus a service provider directory that gathers information on industry segments that are somewhat related to providing help to new inventions and designs, like lawyers, consultants, prototypers, manufacturers, designers, marketers, licensing partners and investors. Unfortunately, the site is massively crammed with free ads that can be a bit in the way of its exploration.
