This site gives visitors the chance to win free gas (without a purchase). We are trying to set a world record by giving away up to $10 Million in free gas.
Application was submitted to Guinness World Records on Monday 5/12/2008. We are raising the free gas money through advertising on the site. Advertisers(sponsers) get a 120×90 pixel size advert in the state or states where they do business that links to their website or gives their address and contact info. if they don’t have a website. Advertising spots are only $100 and stay on the site for TEN YEARS. $10/year. I put the site online approx. 2.5 weeks ago and have had around 13,000 page views and over 2000 people have already registered for free gas. Most of the hits came when freegasgonewild.com was featured in a news story on WFMY channel 2 in Greensboro,NC on 5/13/2008. Gas will be given away via pre-paid gas cards in amounts ranging from $10-$250. Visitors come to the site and participate in a “free gas safari hunt” where they browse the adverts in their state looking for a miniature “Gas Pump Icon”.
