EmergiLink- Helping Save Lives

EmergiLink is an electornic medical record that employs fingerprint technology for identification purposes and mobile messaging for automatically contacting family members when you are seen or transported by paramedics. The program is hosted by local fire departments to their citizens who create an account, upload their photo, add their contact info and their complete medical history.

Should a member become a patient, repsondng paramedics can literally scan one of their fingers and within seconds, postively identify them and bring up their complete medical history.

Founded by a Southern California firefighter/paramedic who has seen 20,000 patients over the span of his 20 year career, actual field experience revealed nearly 90% of all patients were not properly prepared for their own medical emergency.

EmergiLink saves lives, reduces medical errors, creates efficiency with patient care, gets patients to the hospital sooner and can save billions of wasted healthcare dollars attibuted to the ordering of unnecesary disagnostic tests

Why EmergiLink- Helping Save Lives It Might Be A Killer

The hundreds of online medical record systems out there give many members a false sense of security. Paramedics do not take the time to look for ID cards or outdated medical history tucked away in a refrigerator. People are also reluctant to create a secure online medical profile if they know that it won’t be seen by those who are charged with saving their lives. EmergiLink combines the trust and experience of the fire service with the technology that delivers this information right into the hands of those who can truly make a difference. Until EmergiLink, the world has not yet seen an answer to this woldwide problem.
