Eduplace.com is the official website of the Education Place of the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Company. This site features information on everything regarding education, and useful educational materials for students, parents and teachers. Educators, Students, and Families are the three major sections in the site. By entering each of them, you will be prompted to enter the state where you live.

The “Parents” section gives such resources as bibliographies for each grade, and each different learning unit. A list of book titles with its corresponding author and publisher is included.  Other links in this section take you to a “Link library” to find other education tools on the web, a “Reference Library” which offers links to online dictionaries, encyclopedias and thesaurus searchers. Maps and atlases are also found there. The “Homework” option of the menu will give you a good amount of files and links to help your children with their tasks on maths, spelling, reading, or social studies.

Kids will be enticed by the games included in the “Students” menu, where they will be able to find different kind of online games to practice learning skills. Word matches, geography quizzes and memory games can be played for long hours. Stories are also available here.

Teachers, on their hand, will obtain also interesting material for them. This section for educators has outline printable maps to use in class, a “Current events” options, and graphic organizers in PDF format which can be downloaded and printed.
