Cupiditino made some waves when it was first announced some weeks ago because the concept was a little zany to say the least: it was a dating site solely meant for Apple fanboys and fangirls. And now, after a short period of private beta testing the site has become available to just anybody… as long as he has a device manufactured by Apple to log in with.
That is one of the main requirements for using the site – if you try to access it from anything else it won’t budge.
The actual way the site works, now, is nothing new. The only things that are different are the actual denominations used and the information requested on the “About You” sections. For example, a “poke” is called a “mac”. And one of the main questions that you have to answer as part of you profile is “When you became a Mac?”.
Oh, and in case you are wondering what does the name of the site means, it is a play on the name of the archer boy and Cupertino (the city where Apple’s headquarters are located in).
