The Australian Shepherd, also known as Aussie, is a breed of working dogs, developed on ranches of the Western United States. Despite of its name, this breed is originally from the United States and it’s not from Australia. Their name came because their where associated with shepherds who went to the United States from Australia. This association, which is also part of the American Kennel Club, tries to help owners of this breed as well as help finding a puppy and adopting one.
