AACP.orgThe American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), founded in 1900, is the national organization which represents the interests of pharmacy education and educators. This organization encompasses all of the105 colleges and schools of pharmacy in the United States which includes over 4,300 faculty, 48,500 students enrolled in professional programs and 3,600 individuals pursuing graduate study.

The goal of the AACP is to achieve excellence in pharmacy education. All schools of pharmacy in the United States are regular, associate or affiliate institutional members of the AACP. AACP runs a broad range of programs and activities in cooperation with several other national health and higher education associations in the Washington, D.C. area. A numbers of the Association’s activities are concerned with higher education issues, some relate only to concerns of the profession, and others relate to the ample community of all health professions.
