Passion Conferences, also known as the 268 Generation, is a Christian organization founded by Louie Giglio that is known for the spiritual awakening gatherings they hold every year for college students. As well as holding these Christian gatherings, this organization has also put together the sixstepsrecords label, the Passion Worship CDs, and the OneDay gatherings.
The first conference was held in Austin, Texas, eleven years ago. Since its founding the organization has grown and now has its headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. The organization’s purpose is to unite students in worship and prayer for spiritual awakening. They use the biblical verse Isaiah 26:8 as their theme. Passion Conferences has plans to hold international gatherings as of 2008.
