The Punta Lobos Challenge, Pangea Festival, the Warrior Dash…

If you’re a fan of big waves, BMX, kitesurfing, and leaping over flames then maybe, maybe you’ve heard of these action sports events. The odds are high, however, that there are some gnarly festivals you haven’t heard about in remarkable places, ongoing this very moment.

It’s an exciting world out there, friends – that is about to become a lot more accessible for everyone…

Rad Season is the “first next generation platform for action sports events and adventure festivals.” Not only does Rad Season make it easy for thrill-seekers to discover amazing happenings around the globe (“It’s always the season somewhere” after all) but it helps with booking event tickets, accommodations, and connecting with other like-minded people.

Up until now, there hasn’t been a go-to source of information for action sports and adventure festivals. Details have been fragmented among sports and media. Rad Season combines all you need to know into one, easy-to-search site.

Find all the best surfing events, mountain biking, snowboarding, climbing, trail running, or surf/music/yoga events (yes, this combination actually exists, which is definitely rad) all on Rad Season. Keep the adrenaline pumping year round, wherever you’re planning to go or the platform inspires you to travel.

Aggregating info is convenient, but Rad Season really steps up its game by assisting action junkies with making all the arrangements to attend events. What’s more, as the company evolves, the intention is for the search to grow continually smarter so that it can deliver personalized information. Each daredevil will have no trouble keeping up to date on his or her preferred activities.

“I found it difficult to find cool events and festivals going on that were a bit different and had an element of adventure and general radness to them,” Oli Russell-Cowan, Founder & CEO of Rad Season, told KillerStartups.

“There was no detailed information or website with an easy-to-use calendar or location map saying what the festival and events season was and where it was happening for action sports and epic cultural events. I knew that there was always something rad worth going to somewhere in the world at a certain point in time, I just had to find it.”

Fortunately for other action sports enthusiasts, Oli was able to keep off his surfboard just long enough to apply his 15 years of experience in international business development – spanning multiple industries including action sports, events, media, digital, ICT, travel and tourism – toward building Rad Season.

Tough Mudder, Jungle Marathons, Nitro World Games – your adventures of choice, and others you’ve never dreamed of, are now within easy reach. Signup at
