Problem the startup solves:
Data fragmentation is a daunting and costly problem for healthcare systems. Thousands of healthcare organisations each have their own IT platforms, standards, and privacy controls. Currently, not a single medical institution has a complete picture of any single patient. Patients need to be their own case managers, especially those with moderate to severe chronic and rare diseases. No solution today adequately solves for this problem. Jonda Health seeks to solve this pain point with its own proprietary tech stack that puts the patient back in control of their data.
Our solution today focuses on the patient as the data source enabling patients to more efficiently and securely manage their health data in a single location across providers and across geographies by simply taking a photo or uploading a document. Jonda Health is able to categorize and name such documents, structure and standardize the unstructured data pulled from the documents and enable easy sharing securely between patient and providers. To date most solutions, require manual data entry, are restricted to a handful of healthcare providers or do not adhere to data privacy laws.
Progress and current status:
Our Jonda Team is currently working hard to push the application to launch date and will be available on the App Store and Google Play store.
Jonda will be launching on the 26th of September.
What is a crazy story about the startup?:
We might not have a crazy story, but we do have a superpower. Jonda Health focuses on ease of use, automation, privacy and great customer support. Unlike other competitors on the market, jonda has been built specifically for moderate to severe chronic and rare disease patients – and is developed by a team, who personally relate to the struggles of these patients.
While many competitors have created health record systems, many of them still rely on manual input of data, which can be both frustrating and time consuming from a user-friendly perspective. Jonda Health on the other hand, has created automated processes which allow patients to upload and access health data that heavily relies on data privacy, data transparency and ownership of data to provide patients with real privacy.
