Startup one-liner:

Property Management Made Easy

Problem the startup solves:

Today’s leading property management software providers deliver clunky interfaces, a painful onboarding process and terrible customer support.

Fortress makes life easy for property managers by providing a simple and intuitive interface, powerful integrations, an accelerated onboarding process and incredible live customer support.

Progress and Current Status:

We’ve raised $9M from a strategic investor and we are approaching $5M in ARR.

What is an Inspiring Story about the Startup?:

Founder Kerri Davis used to lead the property management arm for a 40,000 unit multifamily portfolio. After years of dealing with inefficient leading management software products, she decided enough was enough, and set out to develop a platform built by veteran property managers with ease of use and flexibility in mind.

What is a Company the Startup Looks Up to, and Why?:

We’re big fans of HubSpot because it has a clean and intuitive interface, strong integrations, and incredible customer support. With Fortress, we model elements of our interface on the way HubSpot handles tables, modals, etc. and we are working toward an app marketplace similar to theirs. They’re a model for both our UI/UX design and inbound marketing strategies.

The Company in Four Years Will Be…

Fortress is growing rapidly, and in the next four years we will be one of the top 5 property management software providers in the market. Multifamily owners and operators of all portfolio sizes will ditch the legacy software products, with their 90s interfaces and endless bugs, and Fortress will be known nationwide as an up and coming leader in the property management software space.
