Problem the startup solves:

I help women feel empowered and confident when attending the gym or pursuing any passions in life. Being consistent can be tough but if you look good, you feel good, which makes it easier to tackle insecurities about working out or trying new things.

Progress and current status:

I just launched the Kickstarter and need to raise money for all the business expenses and start-up fees. Currently I do not have any help so I am managing marketing, negotiations with the manufacturer, emails, and everything else along with my husband. We ordered our first samples but in order to successfully run this business we need a team.

What is a crazy story about the startup?:

I decided it was time to finally start this business because it has been something I have wanted to do this for a very long time. For years my husband and I have been struggling to make ends meet with no support from friends or family. We’ve been kicked out of our apartment by family, we’ve had several deaths over the past few years (7 loved ones in one year alone and a grandma that passed due to Covid), and our fitness business started failing because we were never able to recover from the pandemic. We are living in a broken down house that was passed on to my two sisters and myself by my grandparents that no-one wants to help me manage or live in. I had to beg my own family to let us stay here. In the midst of all this my husband and I are barely holding it together and this feels like a last chance. It is a crazy time but we have hope that we will able to become successful and change our lives with something I’m truly passionate about.

What is a company the startup looks up to, and why?:

This company looks up to Nike and Lululemon but also Louis Vuitton and Brandon Blackwood. These few brands embody things I want my brand to be. High quality pieces, household names, and brands that everyone knows and loves. We want to be an exclusive high end brand that people can come to and enjoy dressing in our pieces.

The company in four years will be…

In four years our company will be a household name that everyone knows. A brand that everyone wears from your A-List celebrity to your fitness enthusiasts all over the world. All styles will be unique and sold in limited amounts so that our styles can become conversation starters that light up the room anytime someone walks in with one of our designs.
