Xpressers.com – Expressing The Way You Feel

Xpressers.comXpressers is a microbloging community in which people can post short messages describing the way they feel, or what they are up to. Users of the site are named “Xpressers”, the status updates that they post go by the names of “Xpressions”, and the verb used for the publishing of these updates is “to Xpress”.

It is all very nice and lovable, but there is a slight problem. Someone got there first. Something called Twitter can do this, and it has been doing it for quite a good couple of years now. I don’t like being sarcastic, but it’s hard to refrain when a product like this one comes around.

Of course, there are some commendable aspects. The AJAX-based front-end, for example, makes the site quite fast and reduces bandwidth usage. But that is hardly going to let Xpress shove Twitter from its high throne. The same goes for other features like being able to post a feed with all your Xpressions on your blog or site via a widget named X-Feed. It’s all really nice. But it has all been done before, and that’s the impression you are left with after using this new communication platform for any length.

Xpressers.com In Their Own Words

“An xpresser can xpress and share anything with his friends, fellows and people all over the world. You can also connect and meet with new people and search for others.”

Why Xpressers.com It Might Be A Killer

I suppose that people looking for alternatives to Twitter might give it a look.
