I have a soft spot for blogs like this one. They deal with music releases by artists that are just starting out, and others that are getting their first contracts.
These blogs always provide you a good insight into the life and emotions that accompany such events, including videos of early performances as well as samples of the music that is forthcoming, albums’ artwork and so on.
For music lovers, it is always refreshing to have a look on the scene that is as wide as possible. Granted, some bands that are in their formative stages often are not that interesting, but they are just starting out. Nobody is the bee’s knees from day one. This applies to all artists. Think of Lord Byron. How well-received was his first book, “Hours Of Idleness”? What about the Spanish poet Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer? You can question the quality of some of their early work, but never its sincerity and enthusiasm. The same can be said about many of the bands you can find right here. They are worth being checked out, and if you like any of them make a point of showing them your support. That feedback is vital when you are just starting out.
