This site makes the expression “stream of information” come truly alive. GlowDart is a site where you can get to read the latest news as if they were a river that flows across your screen, from top to bottom.
You can actually set down the channels that mean something to you from the “settings” menu, and you can also pause the stream at any moment if something catches your eye and you wish to dive deeper into it.
Thankfully, you can sign in via Twitter and Facebook and have the corresponding streams displayed along with the ones that come by default. That was something vital, and I am glad to see the ones responsible for GlowDart kept it in mind. Otherwise, the experience would have been just too removed.
When all is said and done, the site is surely usable and informative. It is slightly devoid of features, but it is still too early to criticize it for that. Let’s see how it evolves as time goes on.
