Judg.me is like HotOrNot, but only that instead of having people ranked based on their physical attractiveness the site aims to have others judge their intellectual qualities. Yes, on Judg.me, you can have someone’s degree of smartness rated based on… a picture.
You might find a site like HotOrNot shallow, but there’s no denying that the premise is accurate – you’re rating someone’s looks, based on a photo that he/she has uploaded. On the other hand, Judg.me wants you to rate someone’s intellectuality based on how he looks. If the site made you rate that person based on some essay or any type of creative piece, then that would make sounder sense. But to rate someone’s intellection based on how that person looks? That seems to be missing the bull’s-eye by quite a few yards.
On its defense, it must be mentioned that Judg.me doesn’t just let you say whether a person is “hot” or “not”, it actually allows you to apply a rating by clicking on a graph.
