As Star Wars fans can tell you, the term “Blue Harvest” refers to the title used to disguise the production of the Return of The Jedi movie in the early eighties. Thirty years down the line, Family Guy creators paid homage to the final instalment of the Star Wars saga in the form of the “Family Guy: Blue Harvest” episode. This episode actually acted as the sixth season premiere of Family Guy, and it has become incredible popular both with fans of the series and the general public alike. The hour-long episode recasts the Griffin family as protagonists of the epic saga - Ben as Han Solo,... read more

At Cultspace.org, you can create your own parody religion, become a cult leader, and even blog “holy texts.” The site offers itself up as a forum to “share serious thoughts on religion, make a complete mockery of an existing religion, or do anything in between.” Most users seem to be going the parody route, with registered cult names like “First Church of Giving Me a Dollar,” “The Grand Circle of Eternal Bacon,” and “The Cool Pope’s Church of Some Ancient Dude.” Cult leaders can add photos or an anthem to their group, and Cultspace users can leave comments on these items ... read more

Nclüdr is the new coolest social network where you can have over 6,000,000 friends. Nclüdr is far superior to facebook and Myspace so cancel your accounts and join the only social network that matters. I could go on and on about how great of a social network Nclüdr is but the truth is it is one big joke. Nclüdr is a parody site making fun of facebook. Nclüdr does a flawless job at copying the facebook format with the almost completely identical interface design in yellow and even joke applications such as: avatars aren’t really real, be a call center worker, my dad can beat up your dad,... read more

If you are a quantum physics expert, you probably know that the Planck Constant is a sophisticated measurement unit which you’ll be able to explain much more accurately that I can; if you are not a physics whiz kid, the name Planck’s Constant will probably start ringing a bell on the blogosphere. This truly hilarious site is out and about to parody the mainstream news, especially in their portrayal of muslim people, by presenting news written in a tone and pace that very comfortably blends into that of the main news outlets, only they refer to slightly odd topics “Vatican: the Muslims ha... read more

Flashportal.com is a site that gathers unique and original flash games and movies submitted by the site’s regular visitors, who can actually make some money with their creations as well, and thus Flashportal.com ensures the high quality of the content it presents, which can be viewed/played online but not downloaded. Most of the stuff I took a look at includes reviews by the people that played/saw it before you, and they are generally quite useful when trying to figure out what the game or animation is about. Also interesting about this site is the fact that it presents a small factsheet bri... read more

TheFugg is a parody of social bookmarking site Digg. It's got the ridiculous name, the same Pligg sort of submission system, and the Digg-esque look, however, Fugg, as funny as it tries to be, hasn't quite got the same level of popularity. In fact you could say it's entirely off the charts. Whereas Digg has got a healthy number of readers, Fugg hasn't even got any submissions (well, there's one, and it's a test). It's unclear whether users, if they were to submit items, are supposed to tender funny, off beat stories, or articles about Digg itself, or odd news happenings. I guess we'll hav... read more
