9figs aka the 109 Project wants to spread one billion pixels over the web. Essentially, it will act as an online billboard in which each pixel is an advert. A billion pixels, a billion ads. Quite an objective. This has been accomplished in similar fashion with the Million Dollar Homepage. However, besides the difference in scale, 9figs will offer a very cool widget for sharing the pixels all around the web.
