The religious net is growing by the minute, which seems a good thing: regardless of whether you are religious or not, the fact that people from all confessions have space to vent their opinions and clearly express their beliefs seems a good thing for freedom and peace. The thing I like more about religious sites is when they are not meek and inspirational, but bold and have serious design and development to them, and that’s why I liked SaddlebackResources.com, homepage for Christian preacher Dr. Rick Warren, so much. Ucgstp.org is an austere site: its design is unsavory, and its features are basic, but I reckon this is a very illustrative example about how simple sites can be very useful as long as they tend and cater for the needs of its target audience, which in this case is that of believers and community members; at least that is the people it was created for, which certainly does not leave out other persons of faith and students who might use the many available video and audio materials for personal or research use. Joining the large network of religious websites, GodsMinute.com is a Christian site associated with no particular denomination which can be of great help not only to believers but to preachers and teachers alike, as it provides daily devotionals sent to you by email, a variety of audio devotionals covering lots of topics, and will also accept suggestions and prayer requests.
