Freelancers excel at doing their taxes.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Oh boy, that’s the best laugh I’ve had in some time.

Of course, if you’re familiar with freelance work at all, you know that freelancers are terrible at accounting. Sure, they’re independent and responsible and organized. Many tackle taxes on their own. I guarantee though, that where they succeed, they waste a tremendous amount of time that keeps them away from paying work – and drive everyone around them crazy with their grumbling.

Track understands that freelancers don’t want to think too hard about the finances of their trade, and so it does all the accounting for them. Track, naturally, tracks things like cash on hand, work expenses, taxes owed, safe-to-spend amounts.

These details may sound so simple, should be so simple to manage, but they’re sooooo easy to neglect until they become a huge headache.

Track keeps numbers straight and sensible for even the most mathematically challenged. Track also makes it incredibly easy to file taxes quarterly, with both alerts for payment dates and views of payment history that you don’t need to have CPA certification to understand.

Sorry to burst the bubble of those just getting started with freelance work or those considering going solo: there’s not much freedom in freelance. Independence and flexibility, control, yes. Liberty to do as you please, not so much. Freelance work is about hustle and outworking others. With Track, at least freelancers are spared math pains.

It’s a tough grind to work on your own. It’s also tremendously rewarding. Track helps freelancers out with bookkeeping so that they can focus on work and gaining clients. If you wanna make life self-employed easier, then hop on the beta waiting list at iusetrack.com.
