I do recall having reviewed a couple of novel social networking sites in the past. The one I remember the most was one that dealt with the oil & gas industry named Drilling Ahead.
I remember it not only because the subject matter was novel but because the site itself was as well-designed as you could imagine. And the social site that I am reviewing right now follows that pattern.
It is a social networking resource for architects the world over, and it mixes the social connectivity that characterizes such sites with a wide specter of professional development features.
On the site, it is possible to learn all about firms the world over and get in touch with them should you be looking into ways of furthering your career. Besides, the site has a “jobs” section that is augmented by one where competitions are held. In that sense, the professional needs of architects both young and old will be more than duly represented.
This site is certainly interesting as it stands, and if we take into account that it has little to no competition then we have to conclude that it will certainly gain some traction.
