The library system that serves Whatcom County can be accessed online at Wcls.org.
The site is split into a wide array of categories that makes browsing through the actual contents a straightforward task. For instance, the section entitled “Library News” lists book sales and job openings within the libraries that make up the network, and a calendar of events is likewise featured. On the other hand, the section which is entitled “Locations” specifies the placement of the libraries all over the County, whilst a section which goes by the name of “Catalog” allows the visitor to carry out an online search of titles, as well as download audio books. Further searches can be performed by visiting the section named “Databases” which can be found on the left hand side of the main page. In addition to that, recommended books and guides that cater for all ages can be procured online. Lastly, those who wish to offer their services as volunteers are catered for in the corresponding section.
