There is even an option allowing individuals to adopt an eagle, or an eagle pair. These eagles are not housed by the adoptor; they are cared for by the American Eagle Foundation (a non-profit organization). The adoptor receives an adoption certificate and a color photograph of the adopted eagle, along with its biographical information. Other features of the site include an e-newsletter that goes by the name of “Eagle Extra”, and a plethora of educational resources. Eagle gifts can be purchased online, too.
