This is a new iPhone app that is certain to put an end to these endless “Should I bring the umbrella along or not?” ruminations that we all are accustomed to. In principle, it provides you with weather forecast maps on your mobile.
That is, wherever you are and wherever you go you can access full weather forecasts and figure out if it is best to wear a jacket, bring the umbrella or even if it will be a good day to go fishing, trekking or cycling.
This app provides you with forecasts for up to five days, and the maps themselves cover just every location – each and every continent is already represented. All minus Antarctica, that is. But I think we all can live with that.
The best thing might just be that the app can be procured at no cost whatsoever. You simply download it from the App Store by way of the provided link. As long as you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch running version 3.0 software or later you will be able to employ it and realize if the phrase “it never rains in Southern California” is true or just a piece of utter fiction.
