There is no ultimate network or service for promoting anything online. Landing a product successfully is the result of a joint marketing effort on several social sites at once, with Facebook and Twitter obviously leading the charge.
Yet, there are people who can not be reached through any of these two social media giants. There might not be that many of them, but the simple fact that an unreceptive percentage exists means that an alternative way to get through to them has to be devised. And this new startup is stepping on these very shoes.
Flypost will let you do something as simple as placing a flyer on an ever-updating wall. The idea is that people will then take notice of what you have posted, and share it further on and on with others.
Will this work out well in practice? That obviously remains to be seen. But it is sure better than sitting cross-legged on the floor, taking no active measures to promote anything that you are doing.
