Simply put, PerfectHitch is an online marketplace for event services such as catering, venues and photography. On this site, individuals are connected with local service vendors by placing service requests. The idea is that vendors respond to such requests by submitting offers and competing among themselves to get the user’s attention. The user can then read consumer reviews and see the feedback that each vendor has received in the past, and make up his mind by taking all that into account along with how much the vendor is actually requesting to be paid for his services.

Using the site is really easy. Memberships come at no cost, and once one is a registered user of PerfectHitch then he can find (and hire) service providers for his event by specifying where he is located and the date that applies. Fifteen different service categories are already featured for users to focus their searches on, and (in addition to the ones mentioned in the first paragraph) these include “Decorations”, “Hair/Makeup”, “Staffing” and “Limousines”.
