The site allows you to search for new wines, all of which come from small vineyards located in Northern California. The site typically adds two new wineries a month to the catalogue. You then create a wine queue, where you specify how often you would like to receive new wines, and WineQ will ship them directly to your house. Prices are reasonable; they range from $11 to $50, and shipping is free on order of more than $35. There is a monthly membership fee of $4.95.

WineQ is a great way to discover small wineries that would otherwise get little exposure. The wine queue is an innovative way to distinguish itself from other online wine stores. If you are wine enthusiast, you get great, unknown wines at regular intervals- what more could you want?
I have to question the concept of the wine queue- don’t most people want order their wines immediately and store them at home, rather than waiting weeks to receive an order?
