WhatsBuzzing.com - Store and Brand Shopping

    whatsbuzzing

So, What’s Buzzing? It’s a destination site for consumers who want to know the scoop on the online shopping scene. Typically, the day of an online shopper might be to go to various online shopping sites and stores, comparing store prices to prices found on eBay or theO and then finding the best deal on their own. That’s a lot of website hopping and too much work for a task that is now easy simplified by Whatsbuzzing.com. Stop at one place and find price comparisons on all of the products that you love. This includes clothing, accessories to electronics. Find all the hottest deals without throwing away time and money.

    In their own words

“The site's mission is to offer a one-stop solution for consumers to browse across hundreds of retail storefronts, view the latest trends and find the hottest deals. The storefronts are fully interactive and are continuously updated with fresh content and timely offers. The goal of Whatsbuzzing is to become the first and only stop for consumers who want to shop online. For many, online shopping is about visiting information sites to research what to buy before going to comparison shopping sites to find the store offering the best price. However, there is no single place online where users can browse the fronts of the stores themselves to find out what is hot and what is cool! The equivalent of a shopping mall experience does not exist. Whatsbuzzing.com is the answer, where a consumer can check out the latest designer dress from their favorite store, find out about a cool accessory for their newest electronic gizmo and see where the best online sales are.”

Why it might be a killer

What’sBuzzing seems to be more geared towards fashion, but I believe the majority of online shoppers go for technology items. This, as well is included in the site, such as notebook computers, but isnt exactly highlighted either. To be honest, this site looks pretty limited as of now in terms of content, so if they can boost that up more it might very well be a useful tool in online shopping.

    Some questions

How are they utlizing newer search algorithms on their website? Could they motivate consumers to purchase more on the site by using mechanisms similar to what Aggregate Knowledge or Baynote has to offer?
