Subvertandprofit.com - Sneak some cash from Digg’s services

    subvertandprofit

These days people are thinking of any possible way to make money off the internet, it seems. Now, Subvert and Profit is the newest service (note that others have tried before) to try to sell home page placement on Digg. The site is charging people $1 for a digg vote, based on the idea that people will pay the dollar in order to receive the publicity that comes with being digged. Digg users also can profit: they can sign up and will receive $.50 every time they digg a story.

    In their own words

“We are a new kind of black market. We allow advertisers to purchase actions on social networks, and we pay social network users to perform those actions.

Why it might be a killer

If Subvert and Profit´s estimate turns out to be true (they claim to estimate that they are 50 to 100 times more cost effective than conventional Internet advertising), they are going to attract some advertisers hungry to get Digged.

    Some questions

Digg can delete your account if you violate its terms of use. Using Subvert and Profit´s service is, of course, a clear violation of Digg´s terms of use. Hmmm, doesn´t that sound like a no-win situation?
