Well it was nice knowing you TicketMaster (not really, actually I always hated your service charges), but now I´ve got a new online ticket provider: ShowClix! This site goes further than Ticketmaster ever did by providing artists, musicians and promoters with a platform to reach their fans, promote shows and sell their tickets completely free.

There are already sites that encompass local or non-mainstream music scenes, and they simply provide links to Ticketmaster in order to make the sales. Will ShowClix be able to surpass Ticketmaster to the point where it is the site linked to from band sites and such Indy or underground music sites?
