    ScreenSteps.com - Version 2.0

    screensteps

ScreenSteps is a tutorial documentation tool that's been around for awhile, but has recently got a nice makeover in a new version. For those unfamiliar, ScreenSteps makes it easy to make tutorials, for say web app tools, or software. Instead of having to use an old-fashioned page layout software, ScreenSteps simplifies it using screenshots. Just drag and drop to accomplish the feat, then go back and add notes, or image annotations. Your changes are automatically saved to a single library so you don't have spend time searching for all your files. You can publish lessons directly or export them to PDF or HTML. The result is a clean, slick, pretty lesson that takes no time to create and annotate. There are currently two versions of ScreenSteps: Pro and Standard. The latter will run you $39.95 and the former with a slightly heavier feature list, will cost $59.95. And it's Mac and Pc compatible.

    In their own words

"ScreenSteps takes the drudgery out of creating visual, step-by-step software tutorials/guides. With ScreenSteps you can communicate software instructions clearly and quickly."

Why it might be a killer

ScreenSteps is the smart way to create tutorial documentation. It's fast, efficient, and creates visually stunning tutorials that are easy to understand and use.

    Some questions

Will users want to pay for this, especially when the competition is so steep? Can ScreenSteps turn a profit? Is it worth it?
