DealBay is the United Arab Emirates' version of eBay. The similarities go further than the rhyming names. Dealbay, like eBay, uses a feedback system in order to protect users from disreputable sellers—positive feedback results in credits, while negative ratings mean a decrease in points. Registering with DealBay is free, and there are no transaction fees (not even for businesses). You can buy and sell practically everything barring drugs, arms, animals and pornography. Categories range from clothing and designer gear, to education, and all others/weird, (nothing too weird there yet though). Landing, leaving, and living tags are applied for newcomers or those leaving who need to buy or sell things quickly. Users can discuss transactions, items, and prices at the community forum. Search for items via the search bar or browse the subcategories.
