In their own words
“Welcome to Crutchfield Thanks to you, the Crutchfield customer, I'm lucky enough to make a living doing something I truly enjoy. I came up with the idea for the Crutchfield catalog while pursuing a hobby, the restoration of classic sports cars. In 1974, while preparing an old Porsche 356 coupe for sale, I decided to add a modern audio system. But I was unable to find a car stereo specialist in Charlottesville or even a mail order company in popular automobile and "do-it-yourself" magazines. I knew that I couldn't be the only person interested in car stereo. The need for a national business to serve this niche seemed obvious.”
Why it might be a killer
This offline company has come with a great online site. It is an esay way to get info and help when pimpin’ your ride. I´d say there are loads and loads of car tunning fans, and a uber cool audio system is a must. Well, if you want your car audio to be neat, I´d say this is the place to go to.
Some questions
How will crutchfield.com attract more users? Will people go online to get these gadgets or will they prefer a walk in store where they can see and actually touch?
