In their own words
“Cruise.com, Inc. was launched in 1998 and is the largest web site specializing in cruises on the Internet. We sell more cruises due to our advanced search and booking technology, greater content and discount prices (lower than all other major cruise sellers). Purchasing cruises online or offline, Cruise.com's experienced cruise specialists provide the highest level of traditional personal service on every booking.”
Why it might be a killer
Cruise.com provides a very useful service for all the cruise lovers out there. It is very helpful for people who are planning to go on vacations and it has the great advantage that neither registration nor fees are required so as to make use of it. This website is very well organized and has a very professional looking design; this aspect could really help increase its potential audience because people are drawn to services that know how to sell themselves.
Some questions
Doesn’t Cruise.com have a lot of competition? How can they stand out? How many people are interested in travelling only by cruise? Can they make the design more appealing? The home page is rather difficult to read; can they use bigger font and less confusing colors? Can they make enough money so as to become a killer website? Do they have enough audience?
