USiFF.com - U Sell it for Free

With the high listing fees that eBay charges, this site offers users a real alternative. Usellit4free (USiFF) auction concept was developed in early 2005, after the founders, had a family member pass away. In looking for ways to raise money for the services, they offered to auction some of the family member's household items on eBay. They went online and listed these items.Over the next few evenings, they came up with a new way to run an online auction site. The new auction concept in fact, is very simple; auction fees, if any, are only charged when an item sells successfully. Why should a company get paid for unsuccessful auctions? Usellit4free moved away from the traditional auction concept of charging up front fees. This auction system is unique and will challenge competition well into the future. Their goal is simple; provide customers a cost efficient means to trade and auction items globally. When Usellit4free's customers have an unsuccessful auction, Usiff is not providing a service. Therefore, customers do not pay.

  In their own words

“Your ebay alternative online auctions site. We offer you free auction listings, never a final value fee.”

http://www.usiff.com

Why it might be a killer

They offer free listings, no upfront cost at all. Any fees, if any, are charged on the back end. They truly offer an alternative to eBay. Someone needs to give eBay a run for their money and they believe they will.

  Some questions

Is this form of ecommerce going to make a huge impact? Will they be able to compete against the so well known eBay?

LOVE it, LOVE the bulk lister, easy, fast and great eye appeal. I believe in time its going to do very well! as will all things, it takes time to build a business brand, and customers will come if service and products keep increasing the way it has.

A highly recommended site is elfingo.com for online auctions. They are the new ebay. Many smaller sites like this offer buyers far better deals than ebay ever could. Buyser also save a ton because this site charges little or nothing depending on the day. One more reaso I like elfingo.com is because they don't take a part of the sale at all. No commissions or final value fees. A http://www.elfingo.com

I did find a few jewelry items when I went to this site. I like the fact that I was able to contact the customer service department via a phone. A real person, no computer.. I think this site might just have what it takes... I'm going try them out and see what happens.Paul

jooxter.com is another alternative to ebay. They have a unique point system that lets you buy and sell as much as you want for a flat monthly fee.

Youtube just got rid of listing fee's. So there is ZERO reason for this now.
